Meet the Maker
Hi, I’m Dawn.
Camp Fisher Creations grew from my love of making things by hand and seeing the beauty in natural materials. Woodworking gives me the chance to start with something already full of character and turn it into a piece that is both useful and beautiful.
I’m especially drawn to wood with dramatic grain, spalting, knots, unusual edges, and other details that make a board unmistakably its own. Instead of trying to make every piece look identical, I want the finished piece to still feel connected to the wood it came from.
My goal is simple: create something I’d be proud to give as a gift, place in my own home, or gather around with family and friends.
